The story of Autometrix began well before the
company name ever appeared on a cutting machine.
It began when naval architect, John Palmer, turned his
considerable expertise towards building an
industry-leading company defined by family,
passion and innovation.

Slide Autometrix Founder and President Today, the shared family commitment to quality
is carried on by John’s son, Jonathan. After growing
up in the company, Jonathan left home to earn his
engineering degree before returning to Autometrix
as an engineer. With a focus on new product
development, Jonathan soon took over as President.
Thanks to the dedication to maintaining control
over the entire process, from software to hardware,
Autometrix is able to ensure an unmatched level of
integration, customization, performance and
customer service. This control along with an ongoing
commitment to constant innovation has made
